If something does break the permanent smile on the face of Thalía it is the distance she live from her country.
After four years without making public appearances in Mexico, singer and actress said Wednesday that the reception of supporters at the airport yesterday (April 20, 2010) and the affection she has felt since then is like a dream that makes her feel extremely happy, as a prodigal daughter who rebels but returns home for good.
The separation, she said, has a price.
“I have to emphasize that the only thing that took me away from my country maybe it was love. It was something I was reluctant, but when you find your partner, that (person) who is there for you through thick and thin, about its gambling”, she said at a small press conference to explain her absence from the stage and other public forums in the Aztec land.
“Every day I wake up and my mother, my sisters are not here, my country and that hurts,” she said without being able to keep her voice broke and she burst into tears. “But we wanted to stick it out,” she said giving encouragement.
Thus interrupted rumors that the reason was insecurity that made him settle in New York in 2003 after her two sisters were abducted. Years later she confessed that agreed to pay the ransom they demanded to release them alive, but never reported the figure.
Thalía said that insecurity and the fight against drug trafficking “of course it is a very big”.

Thalía reacted clutching at her face, shouted “Wow!” several times and allowed to photograph, and then make it their own camera and record the photographers who asked her a smile.

She said that after two years of taking antibiotics for Lyme disease that affected her and made her rethink her life, could create a foundation to help prevent its spread.
