The singer Thalía travelled from New York City to Mexico to open the Teletón 2013 from the Hospital Infantil Oncológico (Children's Oncology Hospital) of Queretaro, where she delighted the little ones with a musical number that included the song of her new children's book that she's promoting Chupi: The Binky That Returned Home.
In the transmission where the governors of Querétaro, José Calzada, and of Michoacan, Fausto Vallejo, appeared who have stressed the construction of rehabilitation centers in their respective states.
For his part, Mexico's President Enrique Peña Nieto and his wife, Angelica Rivera, devoted a recorded message and invited the general public to donate.
"Girls and boys with disabilities, cancer and autism, I have to say that you have the support of the government and the affection of Mexicans", the president said.
Just before going on stage, placed in front of the oncology hospital "El HITO" (Hospital Infantil Teletón de Oncología, also 'miletone' in English) where children with cancer will be addressed, Thalía told the happy news to Joaquin Lopez Doriga "to support a noble cause in favor of the children."
The singer performed two songs, the first of which was accompanied by children (Chupi: El Binky que regresó a su hogar) and the second (Manías) wore a light dress that made her look sensual, regardless of the low temperatures in the city of Querétaro.
She also sang Te Perdiste Mi Amor with Prince Royce.
