‘Sabado Gigante’ special edition: ‘Unidos por Haití’

Univision announced on Tuesday that as part of the large company effort to help Haiti after the earthquake that struck on January 12 that claimed thousands of lives, Don Francisco will be presenting a special edition of Sabado Gigante called Unidos por Haití which will air on Saturday at January 23, 2010 to raise funds.

Help a depressed town

All company resources will be used for this special program and include personalities from Univision, TeleFutura and Galavision, who will join Don Francisco to support the efforts along with other known artists to be announced shortly.

“Haiti needs our help desperately and we hope that through this special we can reach as many people who want to offer their help to these people down”.

Few individuals have the commitment and experience to mobilize relief efforts have television as Don Francisco.

For over 40 years, Don Francisco has been known to associate and lead very successful solidarity campaigns that have generated millions of dollars to the less fortunate.

This special broadcast in addition to all other large multi-platform efforts, Univision Communications, Inc.

The network are also using their ability in various media to promote the fund raising campaign through public service announcements and special reports live from Haiti and Haitian communities prominent in America.

These announcements are being broadcast on Univision’s three networks: Univision, TeleFutura and Galavision.

Some of the most popular programs including Univision’s Despierta America, El Gordo y La Flaca, Primer Impacto, Noticiero Univision and will continue to guide the viewer on how to help those affected in Haiti.
